PlusBus Shuttle from Alderholt to Fordinbridge

This will be a new trial service operating weekly on Wednesdays starting February available to pre-registered PlusBus members only (including any existing PlusBus members).  For details on how to register please click on this link:

The service will be offering up to 8 return journeys departing Alderholt at 09:15, 09:50, 10:30, 11:05,12:05, 12:40, 13:20 and 13:55.

 No booking is required you can hail-and-ride along the set route through Alderholt only.  Drop-off at Fordinbridge Surgery available on request.  Bus passes and contactless payments will be accepted.  The single cash fares will be adult £2.00, child (under 19) £1.00 and child (under 7 accompanied) no charge.

This service is supported by Alderholt Parish Council. 

 

 

 

 

Two Bridges Voluntary Care Scheme

Two Bridges Care Group is a Voluntary Care Group offering the following services to the residents of Sandleheath, Fordingbridge, Godshill and Alderholt who have health difficulties and require assistance with transport for :-

• Transport to and from medical/dental appointments
• Collecting Prescriptions

HOW TO GET HELP
The dedicated number 0845 838 5902 will connect you with the duty co-ordinator. Please give 48 hours notice of the service you require and note that the phone line is only open on Weekdays between 9am and 5pm (Not Saturdays or Sundays).

PlusBus Services to Salisbury, Ringwood, Blandford and Wimborne

As from February, Dorset residents have the option of visiting Fordingbridge on a Tuesday.

The PlusBus runs to Salisbury via Fordingbridge  on Tuesdays, Ringwood & Verwood on Wednesdays, Blandford on Thursdays and Wimborne on Fridays.

One needs to register, and then bookings can be made by phoning 01258 287980 (between 9.30am and 2.30pm Monday to Friday) or email dorset@ectcharity.co.uk.

This service also offers a door to door service where possible.
